Compatibility Matrix¶
This table records the current dependency resolution and CI intent. A lock resolution is not proof that warehouse execution succeeds. Update this page when changing either requirements.txt or its lock file.

Locks were generated from each edition's direct requirements with uv pip compile --python-version 3.11 --universal --generate-hashes. They include transitive versions and hashes for compatible Python 3.11 environments. Dependabot is configured to propose weekly pip and GitHub Actions updates. Review update PRs and regenerate/review the hash lock before merging. Universal resolution does not mean that every OS/Python combination has been installed or validated; record those results before making a support promise.
Update procedure¶
- Edit the edition's direct
requirements.txt. - Regenerate that edition's universal Python 3.11 hash lock using the command in its README/setup guide.
- Check direct requirements against the lock with
python ../../scripts/check_dependency_lock.py requirements.txt requirements-lock.txtfromeditions/Bigquery/, orpython ../../../scripts/check_dependency_lock.py ../requirements.txt ../requirements-lock.txtfromeditions/Snowflake/kit/. - Review direct and transitive changes, then install with
python -m pip install --require-hashes -r requirements-lock.txtin a clean environment. CI checks direct package pins against source constraints; pip's--require-hashesverifies downloaded artifacts against the lock hashes. - Run credential-free
dbt parse; run the appropriate isolated warehouse build when credentials and cost controls are configured. - Update the versions and validation status in this matrix. Do not claim a tested version pair based on lock generation alone.
